The Hero Handmade Holiday Workshop is a one-day virtual event featuring five inspiring cardmaking classes taught by amazing instructors, all using the Hero Arts Cool Yule collection. Attendants will recieve a suprise kit worth over $180 that includes stamps, dies, stencils, inks and more! The theme for this kit is Cool Yule, full of nostalgic charm, and the products in the crafty kit will all be coordinating in line with the theme. 

The workshop will be held virtually on October 18, 2025

The classes during this retreat will be taught by some of your favorite instructors from the crafty world! Classes will be taught by Jennifer McGuire, Mindy Eggen, Charlene Madrid, Nichol Spohr and of course, Hero Arts' Channin Pelletier. 

The Hero Handmade Holiday kits are stuffed with full sized die sets, your favorite Hero Arts clear stamps, layering stencils, inks… plus a lot more. We’re including some extra mediums, as well as an exclusive ColorWheel Cardstock Sampler pack to get you started crafting along. The kits will remain a surprise until they’ve begun shipping, when we reveal what is included.

The full retail value of just the products in the kit is over $180. The kit will sell for $119USD / 170CAD.

In order to create fairness, Hero Handmade Holiday Kits may not be discounted; however, you are allowed to and even encouraged to add value to the event in other ways. This may include offering crop space, snacks/lunch, and/or other product additions (some examples may include a pack adhesives or an extra card kit).

Wholesale cost for these kits is $75, as long as a minimum of 5 kits is purchased. Retailers are also able to purchase 1-4 kits to participate in the event for $94 each. Reservations must be for a minimum of 2 kits, but additional kits may be purchased once the reservations are fulfilled as inventory allows.

Standard wholesale shipping rates apply: orders over $400 will recieve free domestic shipping. Since this is a special event, kits will ship on thier own.

All classes and presentations will be hosted on private YouTube channel and will be available to stream for a year after the event. We’ll share the link to the YouTube channel in an email prior to the event, which you can then share with customers.

We will also have a private Facebook group for attendees. A QR code and link will be provided in the box so attendees can join the Facebook group as soon as they receive their kit.

We've done two very successful The Weekender events at Spellbinders, and we are finding that they just keep getting more popular! During the event, we had a lot of feedback that crafters were looking for a Holiday event, and we aim to deliver! The Handmade Holidays Workshop is a wintery dream come true!

We encourage retailers to take this opportunity to host an in-person event for those who purchase the kit. This will help build loyalty to individual stores, as well as foster community in your area. Plus, hosting an in-store event has the major bonus of bringing customers to your store, where they can purchase additional products from you. You will be given the supply list in advance of the event, so can get additional sales by selling or even bundling those items. There will be a full day of classes and materials that you can live stream, offering a full slate of programming for a retreat. Store owners might also consider adding value through additional crop time or themed days, or even bonus projects created during break times.

A printable PDF, flyers and social shares are available to help sell to customers. We will also provide a store supply list to help ensure you’re stocked up for an in-store event. Emails sent to consumers who order through the Hero Arts website will also be provided so you can keep your customers up to date with the latest information.

Since this is a special event, kits for the workshop must be shipped separately from other orders. Shipping will be free for domestic orders over $400, as normal. International retailers will need to pay standard shipping costs or provide their own shipping account.
