The Weekender is a two-day Virtual Retreat on May 29-30. Six popular designers and influencers will provide over 10 hours of crafty classes and fun. Attendants will recieve a suprise kit worth over $250 that includes 7 die sets, an embossing folder, stencil, rub-ons, embellishments and more. Also included is a collectible enamel pin and products exclusive to the Weekender! This year's theme is Go Wild, and the products in the crafty kit will all be coordinating in line with the theme. 

The Weekender will start at 6pm PT on Friday, March 29th and continue all day Saturday, March 30th!

The classes during this retreat will be taught by some of the most prominent influencers in the field. We’ll have full classes from fan-favorite designers, including: Yana Smakula, Nichol Spohr, Jaycee Gaspar, Sara Lihz Staroska, and Jennifer McGuire - hosted by Kim Kesti.

The Weekender kits are stuffed with 7 full-sized dies, a 3D Embossing folder, stencils, an exclusive stamp set and enamel pin… plus a lot more. We’re including some embellishments as well as an exclusive Creative Spark pack of ColorWheel Cardstock so attendees can create along during the event. The kits will remain a surprise until they’ve begun shipping, when we reveal what is included.

All of the products in the 2026 Weekender kit are exclusive and can't be purchased outside the kit!

The full retail value of just the products in the kit is over $250. The kit will sell for $179.99USD / 249.99CAD.

Wholesale cost for these kits is $115, as long as a minimum of 5 kits is purchased. Retailers are also able to purchase 1-4 kits to participate in the event for $145 each. Reservations must be for a minimum of 2 kits, but additional kits may be purchased once the reservations are fulfilled as inventory allows.

We highly encourage retailers to turn The Weekender into thier own on-site retreat, so pricing is tiered to support ordering multiple kits. When you order five or more kits, they are only $115 each. Additionally, retailers who order 10 or more kits will receive a free package of giveaway goodies valued at over $100. In order to create fairness, Weekender Kits may not be discounted; however, you are allowed to and even encouraged to add value to the event in other ways. This may include offering crop space, snacks/lunch, and/or other product additions (some examples may include a pack adhesives or an extra card kit).Standard wholesale shipping rates apply: orders over $400 will recieve free domestic shipping. Since this is a special event, kits will ship on thier own.

No, the Weekender Craft Kit & Virtual Retreat will be available to consumers through the Spellbinders Website. It will go on sale iApril 20-22 to the general public. Retailers will recieve fulfillment first.

All classes and presentations will be hosted on a private YouTube channel and will be available to stream for a year after the event. We’ll share the link to the YouTube channel in an email prior to the event, which you can then share with customers.

We will also have a private Facebook group for attendees. A QR code and link will be provided in the box so attendees can join the Facebook group as soon as they receive their kit.

The Weekender will be the simplest craft retreat you could ever put on! We encourage retailers to take this opportunity to host an in-person event for those who purchase the kit. This will help build loyalty to individual stores, as well as foster community in your area. Plus, hosting an in-store event has the major bonus of bringing customers to your store, where they can purchase additional products from you. You will be given the supply list in advance of the event, so you can get additional sales by selling or even bundling those items. There will be more than 10 hours of classes and materials that you can live stream, offering a full slate of programming for a retreat. Store owners might also consider adding value through additional crop time or themed days, or even bonus projects created during break times.

Additionally, retailers who purchase 10 kits or more will also receive a prize package of giveaway goodies worth over $100. With these freebies, you’ll be able to do a giveaway drawing or offer door prizes during your retreat.

A printable PDF, flyers and social shares are available to help sell to customers. We will also provide a store supply list to help ensure you’re stocked up for an in-store event. You will also be able to download a list of ideas for helping make the weekender into an incredible in-person retreat for your customers.

Since this is a special event, kits for the Weekender must be shipped separately from other orders. Shipping will be free for domestic orders over $400, as normal. International retailers will need to pay standard shipping costs or provide their own shipping account.

Reservations will be open from March 23 - April 10. Orders will be issued for reserved kits April 15 and emailed to you. They will ship out on a first come, first served basis after payment.
